With Effect from January 2010 , those with Clinical PHD Degrees (or equivalent) will be offered the Option 3 Route to MLC Licensure ; with the ultimate view of including them in the Brand New MLC Register of Specialist Clinical Associates.

In the absence of any WHO-Approved Basic Medical Degree , such applicants (with Clinical Doctorate Degrees) could thus be fully entitled to sit for the MLC Entrance Exam via the Option 3 Pathway for Specialist Clinical Associates.
