Important Professional Update from the Medical Licensing Commission (MLC):

Effective from the 16th of November 2009 , all UK (and Irish) Applicants for Registration with the Medical Licensing Commission will be subject to Additional Competence Checks.

All Potential MLC Applicants are therefore strongly advised to thoroughly ensure that they appropriately finish all of their MLC Licensure Formalities before 12 Midnight on the 15th of November 2009.

After the 16th of November 2009 , all UK (and Irish) Candidates will be required to sit for the MLC Entrance Exam which costs GBP 2999.

The Chief Purpose of the MLC Entrance Exam will solely be to objectively decide whether a Specific Candidate is eligible for either MLC Option 1 or MLC Option 2. It will also assess whether a Specific Candidate will be ethically required to undergo Further Training prior to Formal MLC Licensure.

The Basic (MLC Option 1) 50 Year MLC Licensure Fee will still remain permanently fixed at GBP 299.

International Candidates (outside the UK and Ireland) will also be similarly affected.

Medical Licensing Commission : The Basics


A Few Key Points relating to the MLC License:


*MLC Licenses will initially cover those Restricted Duties of a Qualified Medical Graduates which do not require Statutory Registration (or State Licensure).


*Each Registrant will be able to keep their 'Dr' Title - and will be given their very own MLC Registration Number BUT THEY MUST LIMIT THEIR PRACTISE TO THOSE DUTIES OF A QUALIFIED MEDICAL GRADUATE WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE STATUTORY LICENSURE.


*The New Professional Designation will be : Medically Qualified Wellness Consultant (NOT Registered Medical Practitioner).


*Professional Indemnity matters have already been sorted out - together with a Substantial 'Re-Training' Course and an exceedingly secure Revalidation System.


*All Disciplinary matters will be left to be proven in the Courts (beyond all reasonable doubt) , in keeping with the European Convention on Human Rights.


*Thanks to the current blurring of Statutory Professional Boundaries and Profound Liberalization of Prescribing Powers in the United Kingdom (and beyond) , the onus will then be upon the General Medical Council (or other Statutory Medical Regulator) to clearly state EXACTLY what actually EXCLUSIVELY DEFINES a Registered Medical Practitioner within their particular area (apart from Major Surgeries and Certain Highly Controlled Prescriptions - of course !).

How an additional MLC License would ethically Protect the Public (in Keeping with the European Convention on Human Rights and various other Human Rights Related Statute):


*All Medical Graduates from recognized Medical Schools will no longer be forced to register with their Statutory Medical Board or Council - if they do not wish to engage in any duties which lawfully require such Statutory State Registration.


*All Medical Graduates from recognized Medical Schools will be able to register with BOTH their Statutory Medical Board or Council AND the MLC - if they wish to engage in any duties which lawfully require such Statutory State Registration PLUS THOSE DUTIES OF A QUALIFIED MEDICAL GRADUATE WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE STATUTORY LICENSURE.


*All Medical Graduates from recognized Medical Schools who expediently registered with BOTH their Statutory Medical Board or Council AND the MLC - would still be able to put their Medical Degrees to ethical use concerning THOSE DUTIES OF A QUALIFIED MEDICAL GRADUATE WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE STATUTORY LICENSURE - even if their Statutory Medical Registration Body withdraws their License to practise Conventional (Orthodox) Clinical Medicine.


*All Medical Graduates from recognized Medical Schools who expediently registered with BOTH their Statutory Medical Board or Council AND the MLC - would still be able to put their Medical Degrees to ethical use concerning THOSE DUTIES OF A QUALIFIED MEDICAL GRADUATE WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE STATUTORY LICENSURE - even if they voluntarily surrender their License to practise Conventional (Orthodox) Clinical Medicine.


*All Medical Graduates from recognized Medical Schools who expediently registered with BOTH their Statutory Medical Board or Council AND the MLC - would be able to ethically classifiy certain responsibilities as THOSE DUTIES OF A QUALIFIED MEDICAL GRADUATE WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE STATUTORY LICENSURE - and distinguish such duties from other Statutory Resposbilities relating exclusively to their License to practise Conventional (Orthodox) Clinical Medicine.

In the event of their Statutory Medical Body unlawfully attempting to Discipline such Dually Registered Doctors in matters which relate to THOSE DUTIES OF A QUALIFIED MEDICAL GRADUATE WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE STATUTORY LICENSURE ; then the Dually Registered Doctors will be able to get a Court Order RESTRAINING the particular offending Statutory Medical Registration body from oppressing them - on the grounds that the Statutory Medical Body lacks appropriate Jurisdiction in the matter.


* Members of the Public who do not wish to forced into Conventional (Orthodox) Medical Treatments will be able to clearly distinguish those Certified Medical Graduates who have an additional MLC Qualifications ; and thus be assured of far much more Holistic Attention than the typical 9 Minute Orthodox Consultation.


*Full Empowerment of the Members of the Public will be guaranteed by the MLC - as almost all of the Tools , Testing Kits, Pills and Tests which are used by Medically Qualified Wellness Consultants are easily obtained Over the Counter - without any hassles what-so-ever.

" Over the past few weeks ,(or so) , I have received very many hundreds of emails from countless Tabloid Journalists who claim that Wreckless Busybodies at the General Medical Council (GMC) have been advising them that the Medical Licensing Commission is somehow subject to the racist whims (and filthy caprices) of the GMC.

I would therefore like to make it abundantly clear (to all and sundry) that the Medical Licensing Commission is the Paramount Regulatory Body for a whole new Clinical Profession altogether.

As far as our brand new profession is concerned - the Medical Licensing Commission lies FAR ABOVE the General Medical Council - in every (regulatory) manner, way, shape or form.

MLC Licenses are strictly awarded to MLC Consultants in the MLC's independent kind of Evidence Based (Clinical) Alternative Medicine - and they have absolutely nothing to do with GMC Registered Medical Practitioner Licenses (which deal with statutorily regulated Conventional Orthodox Clinical Medicine).

The General Medical Council does not own any exclusive monopoly rights to the word Medicine ; and neither does the GMC hold any exclusive rights over the 'Doctor' Title either.

In fact ; the lawful possession of a General Medical Council License does not mean anything to the Medical Licensing Commission - and Vice Versa.
